What You’ll Gain
By the end of this program, you will have:
- A relevant toolkit of activities you are excited to facilitate in your classroom, workshop, or training
- Clear frameworks and simple language to teach about core anti-oppression concepts
- Strategies to design and hold spaces for critical conversations about divisive topics
- Affirmation and strategic support from a community of educators doing similar, justice-centered work
How Does it Work?
This is a 3-week live program with three 2.5-hour sessions on consecutive Saturdays. Each session includes:
- Course content led by me, where I’ll show you my most effective curriculum so you can see it in action.
- Group coaching, where we apply what you’ve experienced to your own teaching context, tackle challenges, and refine facilitation strategies.
Course Content (60-90 minutes)
You’ll participate in my most engaging, tried-and-true activities for anti-oppression education—resources I’ve spent years collecting, creating, and testing so you don’t have to.
This is designed to save you time and reduce uncertainty. Instead of spending hours searching for the right activity, second-guessing whether it will land, and figuring out how to facilitate it, you’ll experience these activities firsthand and leave knowing exactly how to use them in your own teaching.
You’ll also get access to the facilitator guide and student materials you need to deliver each activity.
Group Coaching (60-90 minutes)
This coaching space offers dedicated time to share resources, ask questions, and receive targeted feedback on the challenges you’re facing in your own work. You’ll receive direct guidance from me, alongside the collective support of the group, to navigate justice-centered facilitation in your specific context. The course material serves as a jumping-off point for exploring the key nuances of this work together, including navigating identity and power dynamics, responding to “hot moments,” and working within institutional constraints.
… and, 1:1 Call With Me!
You’ll receive a 60-minute private working session with me, focused entirely on your context, learners, and goals. This is your chance to mine my curriculum library and pick my brain on anything you need support with. Bring your toughest facilitation questions, unfinished ideas, or even a workshop you want to redesign—and together we’ll get to work so you leave feeling unstuck and ready to hit the ground running.
Is This Course for You?
You’re an expert in your field, already committed to cultivating critical thinking, social justice, and student engagement in your classroom—you don’t need anyone to explain why that matters! What you’re looking for are practical, ready-to-use methods to spark dialogue, ignite “aha” moments, and the support of a community to implement them with confidence.
This course is ideal for:
- Classroom teachers (ages 10+) and university professors
- Workshop facilitators and trainers
- Curriculum designers
- Educators across organizations seeking justice-centered facilitation

About Your Instructor
Hi, I’m Marine Galvez. I’m a facilitator, curriculum designer, and passionate believer that education should empower learners to critically, collaboratively, and creatively rethink what we consider “normal.” Over the past 13+ years, I’ve designed and delivered workshops for students, teachers, and adults across sectors, refining frameworks for highly participatory, justice-centered learning experiences. I’m excited to share these tools with educators so they can feel alive in their teaching, facilitate with confidence, and continue showing up as the incredible, revolutionary educators they’re meant to be!
